Australasian College of Natural Therapies was established in 1982 to meet the growing public demand in all aspects of natural medicine.
ACNT has now grown to become the premier college of natural medicine in Australia training over 2,000 students per year from all over the world.
Leading the way with natural therapies in Australia, the College was a founding member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). Freida Bielik, ACNT College Principal, is Vice President of this accreditation body.
In addition, many courses are accredited by the New South Wales Government's Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) as well as accredited by the Federal Government for the acceptance of overseas students.
In addition, the College has many courses that are accredited by associations in Australia and other countries. For further information about accreditation and affiliations, click here.
Today, Australasian College of Natural Therapies offers numerous different courses in natural medicine, manual therapies and natural beauty therapy, both professional and short courses by face-to-face, correspondence and online education, operates one of the largest clinics in Australia offering affordable treatments to tens-of-thousands of Australians every year, holds workshops for the medical profession, works with industry companies and associations to lobby Government departments and provide employment opportunities for graduates, directly employs over one hundred people and trains thousands of students per year.
Our greatest reward has been seeing our students become graduates and our graduates go into the workplace and help their patients - treating them as a whole person, effectively and safely.
Today, with increasing levels of understanding of health and the profession that natural therapies has become we look towards the future optimistically, believing firmly, as we always have, that continuing to provide quality, professional natural health care education to a worldwide audience will ensure the continued growth and success of the College, our staff, faculty, students, graduates and the community at large.
