Campus Location
SBTA is conveniently located in the heart of Sydney's bustling business district, close to shops, restaurants, cinemas, banks, major universities and popular Darling Harbour. Trains, buses, the light rail and monorail are all just a short walk away.

Campus Facilities
SBTA offers students a modern campus complete with large, well-appointed training rooms and a fully-equipped training bar for Hospitality students, as well as an internet café, student kitchen and outdoor balcony. There is also a food court and medical centre in the same complex.

Accreditation
SBTA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and accredited by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). This ensures that all SBTA courses are delivered to the highest government standards and recognized nationally.

VETAB Mission Statement:

 

VETAB’s mission is to foster vocational education and training of the highest possible quality and with the widest possible community access, through a firm commitment to excellence, integrity and partnership. VETAB is committed to providing the highest quality services to all our customers.

 

VETAB’s main functions are:

  • to register training organisations;
  • to accredit vocational courses;
  • to approve persons to provide courses for overseas students;
  • to advise the Minister, liaise with authorities (both in NSW and elsewhere) and investigate and report on matters relating to these registration, accreditation and approval functions.

These are outlined in the Vocational Education and Training Act 2005 (the VET Act). The Act replaced the Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Act 1990 on 26 April 2006. These functions are supported by staff within the Quality Assurance Services Directorate of the NSW Department of Education and Training.

If you are new to Sydney, a great way to immerse yourself in our customs, culture and lifestyle is through our homestay program.

Breakfasts and dinners are provided every day and lunches are also provided on weekends.
We can also advise you on alternative accommodation options, such as hostels and share accommodation.
